What is Cyber Security?

Cyber security is the management and application of Information Security standards. This applies to computers,  computer networks, and the data stored and transmitted. It can also cover physical security.

The HSCIC Cyber Security Programme (CSP)

The Cyber Security Programme (CSP) was established and funded under a mandate from the HSCIC Board. CSP has since been expanded and supported by additional funds allocated by the Cabinet Office’s National Cyber Security Programme (NCSP) following a bid made jointly by HSCIC and the Department of Health.
