The voluntary sector IG Toolkit view contains a developmental set of requirements that the DH IG Policy team will be working on over the next 6-9 months with a voluntary sector working group. The view is appropriate for voluntary organisations providing advisory and support services from an office base or perhaps in a service user’s home. It is not appropriate for in-patient or residential type services, nor is it appropriate for new community organisations that have resulted from PCT reconfiguration.

Organisations wishing to register under this view should contact the Exeter Helpdesk (exeter.helpdesk@nhs.net or 0845 3713671) for the attention of IGT 3rd line. Those obtaining registration will be invited to join the working group to assist in the development of the guidance and knowledgebase materials.
